This listing is for an adorable PAIR of small-size antique brown leather shoes.  Unbranded - Lining Stamped 5387.  Looks like they were made during the Victorian era - Age estimate 1880 to 1910.  Rare design with detailed machine stitching, 2 ankle straps with shank button closure.  They have a unique decoration at the toe - a pom-pom on ribbon - Haven't been able to find anything similar through Internet search.  The button holes look like they could be hand-stitched to me - but I don't know - see closeup photo.  The wear on the heels looks like they've been worn by a child, not just placed on a doll.  They measure 4 1/2" long x 1 5/8" wide at ball of foot x 1/14" wide at heel.  These are longer than most doll shoes, although they could fit a larger doll - be sure to measure prior to purchase. Made of vintage soft, supple brown leather with a soft sole and fabric lining inside.  Well preserved overall - you can see a few scuffs and one tiny split along the sole line - see closeup. The new owner could polish them if desired - I've always thought they look great with their natural antique look.  They were sitting on an Iowa lady's dresser house for many years with a collection of antique bottles - lovely addition to any vintage display!  TAKE A LOOK AT THE PHOTOS.  THEY ARE THE BEST DESCRIPTION OF THIS ITEM.  SOLD AS PICTURED.  WE DO NOT OFFER RETURNS.
