baby crib handmade vintage quilt. Dates back to 1940’s, before the need for pictured tops and when Grandma’s made what they were used to making only in a smaller size. It measures 44x63. Did you see the yellowing in the first picture which is toward the edge. It has not been treated and may or may not come out but it is only noticeable when you’re looking at it closely instead of looking at the overall pattern. (Picture 7) There is no frayed edges, no rips - it is very tightly quilted as you can see and I can’t tell you if it is machine quilting or my grandmother’s very steady even stitches. There is one small yellow spot but it’s only visible on the back. (Pictured). Held up to the light there are no weak areas it is a very strong quilt to this day. Condition is “Pre-owned”. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
