The Left drive is a vital part of two kits that allows the Kreepy Krauly Warrior and Rebel to have the freedom of moving along the surfaces of the pool which also includes climbing the walls. The power that is created by the Turbine is transferred through the Drive Gear Kit which then sends that power to these Drive Kits (as there is one needed for the right side as well) which ultimately turns the wheels and allows the cleaner to make its way around your pool.
This Kit comes with a long plastic shaft two springs and a placement holder with a bearing that allows it to move while holding the shaft in place. These parts can wear and deteriorate over the length of time and use of the cleaner and depending on the chemical balance of the water so they will need to be replaced at some point.
Installation Procedure:
This kit is fairly easy to install. You need a 5mm hex wrench as you have to remove a wheel. Be sure the two springs, about one inch long each. Definitely, this kit will fixe you Rebel getting stuck problem.
Note:
When replacing the left drive the right drive 360290 and the wheel hubs 360288 should be replaced at the same time.
