This bright colorful handmade batik patchwork quilt measuring 36" by 45" in yellow, red, pink, orange, purple, aqua, green and blue on a white background would be perfect as a lap quilt, wall hanging or for the nursery for either a boy or a girl;newborn, infant, toddler.(FYI: crib mattress measures 27' by 52").
As a traditional 3 layered quilt:
The quilt top, made of 100% designer cotton batik fabrics as well as 100% cotton white fabric by Robert Kaufman, is machine pieced.
A layer of cotton batting in the middle adds warmth to the quilt.
The backing is made from an ultra-soft 100% quality cotton flannel in a yellow and white star print.
A scrappy batik mitered double-fold binding was added for durability.
Easy care-machine wash(cold) and dry(gentle cycle).
