Clear Shield Material: Printed 0.010” PET (0.25mm)
Clear Shield Dimensions: 12.6” wide x 8.7” high (320 mm x 220 mm)
Forehead Pad: Open-cell polyurethane foam
Stretch Headband: 1” wide knitted polyester elastic
Our ready-to-wear face shields:
• Are FDA Class 1 medical devices
• Are individually wrapped and have a peel-off protective film applied
• Treated for anti-fog
• Meet ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2015 eye protection standards for droplets and splash (Z87 D3)
• Meet EN 166:2004, EU Eye Protection Standards for protection from splash and droplets
• Are CE certified to conform with European Economic Area (EEA) health, safety, and environmental protection standards
• Should not be used in the presence of high intensity heat source or flammable gas
Shields have been authorized by the FDA as personal protective equipment (PPE) for use by healthcare professionals for medical purposes. They will remain authorized for the duration of the emergency as described in U.S. Federal Drug & Cosmetic (FD&C) Act, 21 USC 360bbb-3(b)(1), or until otherwise terminated or revoked.
Our manufacturing facility is FDA registered. Our ready-to-wear face shields have not been FDA “cleared” or “approved”, but this is not a requirement for FDA Class 1 face shields. They are economical, lightweight, easily adjustable, fit over glasses and masks, and comply with United States and European standards.
