Condition: Overall, condition of set/box is GOOD for their age, though not great. Box is in ACCEPTABLE condition. Top "hatch" of box is loose from bottom and has piece missing. Expect surface wear, creasing, scratches and/or abrasion damage. Box edges and corners also exhibit wear/abrasions or damage. Original 15 cent cut-out is still intact. Bottom of box has some wear/marks. Front flap of box top has a bit of tearing at edges/ corners. Cards are in fairly good condition, with the majority suffering no major creases or edge wear/ blunting. Some cards may have minor print errors, while others may suffer from some fading and/or discoloration. All stickers (except for "Tusken Raider" have slight roller marks. The Luke Skywalker #1 card has a small dent near left ear. Card #63 has significant offsetting. These cards have not been professionally graded. line, manufactured in the United States back in 1977. This awesome collection of rare cards comes to with an original display box from the same series. Includes 66 regular cards and 11 sticker cards. Set includes the rare Moff Tarkin, Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker cards.
The set was based on
Star Wars - Episode IV: A New Hope
, and featured stills from the film, promotional photos and behind the scenes photos, all within a turquoise border. Backs of the cards featured "Actor's Profile" or "Movie Facts" themes, or included a portion of a larger image that could be pieced together with other cards like a puzzle.
