Vintage WeatherBird Toddler Shoes
For Sale are a pair of new, old stock, WeatherBird toddler shoes in the original box.  There are a few age stains on the box and a couple of marks on the canvas liner on the inside of the shoes.  I don't know the size of the shoes but the number on the box shows 2125.  The shoe measures 8 inches in length.  Please check all the pictures to see the condition of the box and shoes.  If you have any questions please send me a note.
Below is a little history I found on the brand.  These shoes came from a estate sale from a family that owned a local shoe store since 1950.
Weatherbird brand shoes for children, using pictures of the Weatherbird in advertising, were offered starting in 1901 by the St. Louis-based Peters Shoe Company, later part of
International Shoe
which continued to base the brand's image on the Weatherbird until 1932 (the brand itself continued at least through the 1950s).
